Our Financial Policy

We accept: Visa and M/C credit cards and will bill your insurance company as a courtesy to you. Payments will be expected as treatment is rendered, unless other arrangements have been made. Also, when treatment plans are large or incur lab costs, a portion of the balance will be expected before treatment starts. This would usually be 50 percent of the balance.

We are pleased to now offer our patients another payment option: Care Credit, a dedicated line of credit for healthcare services. It is fast and easy now to receive online approval within just a couple of minutes! CareCredit, a GE Money Company, gives you convenient payment options so you can get the procedure you want, when you want it, with some options offering no interest for one year payment plans!  For more information go to: www.carecredit.com

Dental insurance is accepted, but should be noted that most dental plans are designed only to defray the cost of needed care. Insurance is a benefit from your employer.   They pay only a portion or percentage of the bill.  The final word on your benefits is always from your insurance carrier. Questions regarding benefits will best be answered by your employer’s Benefits Coordinator. If it is possible we will coordinate your dental treatment to help maximize your benefits, but it is our philosophy to treat you using our professional judgment based on your needs. As a result of this, we are not a provider for any HMO, or other type managed care plans.

Appointment Information

We consider it a privilege to be your dental health provider. Our practice is committed to your quality care and is pleased to reserve time exclusively for you and your family. We attempt to schedule appointments that are most convenient for you and that fit your schedule.

We respect our patients' time and make every effort to remain on schedule. Some visits are more complicated than initially anticipated, and emergencies may arise that could delay your timely care. If we are significantly delayed, every effort will be made to notify you beforehand so you may choose to come later or reschedule. Similarly, if you are going to be late, we ask that you please notify us. If you are significantly delayed, your scheduled treatment may be modified or you may be asked to reschedule your appointment.

It is our goal to create a schedule that most efficiently provides for the dental needs of all of the patients we serve. Because we reserve time exclusively for each patient, we ask that you make every effort to honor your reserved dental appointment. If you find that you cannot keep your scheduled appointment, we require a minimum 48 hours notification.

This allows your reserved time to be made available for other patients who may benefit from earlier care. To notify us of any change, please call our office during business hours or leave a message on our answering machine, which is time and date stamped for your convenience.

We recognize that there are unforeseen circumstances that cause reserved appointments to be missed without 48 hours notice; we certainly want to accommodate for this within our policy.

ALL CONFIRMED APPOINTMENTS WILL REQUIRE A 48 HOUR CANCELLATION NOTICE.  THIS WILL ENABLE OFFICE STAFF TO PRODUCTIVELY FILL YOUR SPOT WITH A PATIENT IN NEED OF DENTAL CARE.  THE FEE FOR MISSING A CONFIRMED DENTAL APPOINTMENT IS $80.00, WHICH MUST BE PAID PRIOR TO RESCHEDULING.  ALL APPOINTMENT CANCELLATIONS MUST BE MADE IN DIRECT COMMUNICATION WITH OUR DENTAL OFFICE.  TELEPHONE MESSAGE CANCELLATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTABLE ONLY BETWEEN THE HOURS 8 A.M. TO 5 P.M. MONDAY THRU FRIDAY.

IN THE EVENT WE ARE UNABLE TO REACH YOU FOR CONFIRMATION OF YOUR DENTAL APPOINTMENT, WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CANCEL YOUR APPOINTMENT IN FAVOR OF ANOTHER PATIENT IN OUR PRACTICE WHO MAY BE IN NEED OF IMMEDIATE CARE.

Waiver on the above policy will be given consideration when appropriate.

Patients under age 18: Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, or have a signed parental consent form on file for treatment to be rendered.

Patients over age 18: We request that appointments for our adult patients be personally scheduled by the patient.

Family: Family/Multiple Appointments are limited to 2 appointments per day.
(Exceptions for families with outstanding appointment histories may apply.)
